Why this page exists
This site asks you to believe numbers about your electricity bill, and the only reason to believe them is that the working is public and checkable. A site that shows its arithmetic but silently rewrites it when it's wrong has given you nothing.
So corrections are published rather than absorbed. If a change makes an earlier version of a page look bad, that is the correction working.
What counts as one
A correction is a change to a fact: a price, a rate, a production figure, a legal status, a certification claim, a date. These get logged below with the old value and the new one.
Not a correction: rewriting a sentence, adding a section, updating a page because the world changed rather than because we were wrong. A rate that goes up is news, not an error. The SB 868 status changes on its own schedule and is dated wherever it appears.
If a correction changes a savings figure, the methodology and the calculator change with it in the same commit. An article stating arithmetic the calculator can't reproduce is precisely what this site tells you to watch out for, so the tests fail until both agree.
The log
Nothing has been corrected since publication.
That is not a boast — the site is new, and the honest reading is that not enough people have checked it yet. The items below were caught before launch and are recorded here because they are the kind of thing this page is for.
